Perrot State Park

The park's 1,400 acres nestle among bluffs where the Trempealeau and Mississippi rivers meet. From the 500-foot river bluffs, one can enjoy breathtaking views of the mighty Mississippi. The CD-Rom offers a review of Perrot's campground, with 11 photos of recommended campsites, many with access to Trempeleau Bay. There are printable maps of the park and campground, with photos of the shelter, panoramic river valley views, and rock formations along the climb to the top of Brady's Bluff Trail; photos of the boat launch, Nature Center and Shelter, picnic area, observation deck, and Trempeleau Wildlife Refuge. Included is information about the park's scenic hiking trails, fishing and boating on the river, Trempeleau Mountain, wildlife and wildflowers, the Nature Center, and other nearby attractions such as the Trempeleau Wildlife Refuge and Great River State Trail.
