Peninsula State Park
On a peninsula
jutting into Green Bay waters, the 3,776 acres of forest include
four campgrounds, bike trails, an observation tower, summer theater,
a 125-year-old lighthouse and an 18-hole golf course. Visitors
explore bays fringed by sand and cobblestone. Islands and ships can
be viewed from the bluffs. The CD-Rom is is loaded with photos of the park, and offers reviews of Peninsula's four family campgrounds, the most popular in the state, with photos of 18 of the recommended campsites. Horseshoe Island which can be visited by boat, picnic areas and shelters, group campground, park wildlife, winter activities, the Eagle Tower and Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, the 18-hole golf course and driving range, park geology, and other park recreational activities.
