Nelson Dewey State Park

Take in a panoramic view of the Mississippi River or relax in wooded campsites atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi. Visit Stonefield, home of Wisconsin's first governor, Nelson Dewey, and Stonefield Village, a reconstructed 1890 village. The CD-Rom reviews Nelson Dewey's campground, which has some of the most scenic campsites in the state with their panoramic views of the Mississippi River Valley. The photos at the left were both taken from campsites here. There are 8 photos of recommended campsites and printable maps of the park and campground, with photos and information about hiking trails, boating and fishing on the Mississippi, and nearby attractions such as Stonefield Village, the Cassville Bluffs, and area eagle viewing.
