Chequamegon National Forest - Moose Lake Campground

Moose Lake Viewed from the Boat Landing
Moose Lake is another of those secluded Chequamegon Forest Campgrounds you can expect to find a lot of privacy within. With the more popular Day Lake Campground situated to the northeast near Clam Lake, this campground is less-used and is a perfect place to get away from it all and have a personal close-encounter with the beauty of Nature. The campground is located in a maple and birch forest near 1670-acre Moose Lake Flowage. Fish found here include musky, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and panfish. The rustic campground also has a
small swimming beach and boat ramp.
The CD-Rom offers a review of the campground, with photos of 5 recommended campsites, photos of the boat landing, a printable map with information about campsites sizes and driveways for RV/Trailer owners, directions, and information about other local attractions.
