Chequamegon National Forest - Day Lake Campground

Boat landing at Day Lake Campground
The Day Lake Campground is one of the finest in the Chequamegon National Forest. 640-acre Day Lake flowage abounds with muskie, largemouth bass, and panfish. Eagles are often sighted here and several nest in the area.
For a rustic camping experience in a natural, uncrowded setting, nothing beats Day Lake. There is ATV access from the campground to the Dead Horse ATV Trail and the campground is close to CAMBRA mountain bike trails and the Elk Release Area. The CD-Rom contains a review of the campground with photos and descriptions of 14 recommended campsites, along with photos and info about the campground's two swimming beaches, boat landing, and fishing pier. There is a printable map of the campground, with campsite information, including driveway lengths for RV/Trailer owners, directions to the campground, and information about other Great Divide attractions.
