Calumet County Park

Located on the east shore of Lake Winnebago, 200-acre Calumet County Park has much to offer. Native American effigy mounds, a post-Civil War brickyard, and the geology of the Niagara Escarpment, combined with forest and lake, create a beautiful park. The upper ledge in the park is known as the Niagara Escarpment. The CD-Rom offers a review of the campground, with 10 photos of recommended sites, many of which are located along the waters of lake Winnebago. Also included are photos of the spacious boat launch facility and lakeside picnic area, with a printable park map. There is information about the excellent fishing and boating opportunities on the lake, winter recreation in the park, and other nearby attractions such as Ledge View Nature Center with its popular caves, and the Friendship Recreation Trail.
