Bong State Recreational Center
The Richard Bong Recreational Area offers a greater variety of outdoor activities than any other park in the state. The CD-Rom offers reviews of both the Sunrise and Sunset Campgrounds, with over 100 recommended sites in these excellent campgrounds, and photos of 11 of the best sites. There are also photos of the boat launch and fishing pier, Molinaro Visitor Center, observation platform at the Wildife Viewing Area, Pet Picnic Area, and a printable map of the park. Included is information about the many different activities available, including a dog hunting training area, ATV trails, hang-gliding and experimental aircraft, rocketry and hot air balloons, horse trails, falcon training, and other activities. There is information about the Molinaro Visitor Center with its Butterfly Garden, the beautiful Wildlife Refuge, hiking trails, wildlife, horse trails, and swimming, boating, and fishing opportunities.
